In the same year a Yale School of Public Health study projected that full federalization of US healthcare would save $1.04 trillion and 114,000 lives annually, Congress passed a law cutting $911 billion from federal Medicaid spending, and Affordable Care Act subsidies expired, doubling premiums for 20 million people.
