About Columbus

Columbus is built around Ohio State, one of the largest universities in the country by enrollment, and around Battelle, an independent research institution headquartered there that's larger and older than most people realize. The city's demographics track the U.S. average closely enough that companies have used it as a product test market for decades — which is also, not coincidentally, part of why insurtech and healthtech firms cluster there.
