Rhombus Systems Inc. is launching the Recon, a four-legged autonomous security robot equipped with cameras and sensors that can patrol construction sites, office suites, and remote locations either autonomously or on dispatch. The robot integrates with Rhombus' existing security sensor suite and can check inventory status in stores and warehouses. CEO and co-founder Garrett Larsson stated the goal is to deploy fully autonomous robots that can make decisions independently before involving humans.
