Setex Technologies is a Carnegie Mellon University spinout and the first commercial manufacturer of dry adhesive technology inspired by gecko gripping mechanics. The company develops and manufactures patented gecko-inspired anti-slip materials used in consumer products and industrial applications. In April 2024, Setex completed the sale of its industrial tape and related product lines.
