About Bozeman

Bozeman sits in the Gallatin Valley at the gateway to Yellowstone, and Montana State University's optics program feeds a small but real photonics and aerospace cluster that has nothing to do with the outdoor-recreation economy the town is better known for. Two industries — mountain tourism and small-satellite hardware — coexist there without much overlap.
