About Utah

Utah's "Silicon Slopes" corridor runs along the Wasatch Front, and BYU and the University of Utah both feed it — but the state's tight-knit business and community networks, shaped by its unusually concentrated population base, are a real and underdiscussed reason SaaS companies there have grown as fast as they have. It's a genuinely distinct venture culture, not just a cheaper Silicon Valley.
